Mini Amp Enclosure

Post by Damin69 » Sun Sep 04, 2016 10:43 pm

So My Brother in law got me an amp for Xmas. I just opened it about a month ago and have been playing with it. I just decided it needed in enclosure so I made one for it out of Oak. I had salvaged some pallet wood and come up with a couple of nice pieces of oak to use. I did my basic layout in autoCad then brought into CamBam to cut out on the CNC. Here is how it turned out.

There is elegance in simplicity - nice looking home for the amp.

Is it press-fit only? I did not see any form of fastener or adhesive.

The front bottom and back are all glued into a dado cut. The top plate has a full sliding dado so the top will just slide off to access the board. Simple but effective.
