Wasteboard project holes for M5 Inserts

Post by amartinez » Sun Aug 20, 2017 5:21 am

Hi all,

This is my first project with the Shapeoko 3. I modified the DIY Shapeoko Wasteboard project available here:
http://docs.carbide3d.com/tutorials/project-wasteboard/ to use the M5 M5x10mm Interface Hex Socket Threaded Inserts purchased on Amazon: http://a.co/07EgvEi
The change was made to use the Clamp Set provided by Inventables: https://www.inventables.com/technologie ... 3d-carving

I just changed the radius of the holes to 0.177 on Carbide Create

Thanks Carbide ;)

Hi
Are you using an adapter for your makita trimmer?
Thanks

Hi, I'm using the adapter that came with the Shapeoko kit. The link for the adapter: https://shop.carbide3d.com/collections/ ... 9340264262
I purchased the collet for Makita from Elaire Corp: http://elairecorp.com/makitaroutercollets.html.
