The annoying thing was I drove right past State College on the way home --- considered checking into picking it up, but I doubt it's still there, and if it is, that they'd be inclined to allow that from somewhere so distant from the destination (and I'm not wild about having to drive over to the East Shore to get it either). Guess I'll be playing hooky tomorrow.

It's a good one to use when things get all "technified" all of a sudden. :-)

Yeah, I saved it on my work computer for just that purpose. I lead a bunch of very technical guys, I'm a team lead so I still understand MOST of the technology, but sometimes one of my alpha-geeks goes off into the weeds that I don't understand. I'm gonna pull this out next time work conversations go in a direction I can't follow.

Today. Here.

Had to change my delivery to work, since I'm really, really, really busy.

What, you have not taken a day off to put this together ASAP ???

I would have

This is going to be my first CNC machine. The closest I have is a 100% custom 3D printer I build for myself.

I am real anxious about the SO3. I must recognize that the SO3 is indeed an evolution, but I cannot not forget it is the first iteration of the spring loaded Z axis, it is the first use of the custom printer controller, and frankly, we have not seen much of it yet, besides 2-3 short videos.

Anyhow, please do provide feedback as you go, its be appreciated.

Thank you

Jeff

I would have if I could --- that was the original plan, but there's just too much here at work which is on too tight a schedule (if not already late in arriving here, and I'm the only one who can make up any of the schedule) --- probably yet another all-nighter, then a full day of work tomorrow, then catching up at home.

Isn't this where people on the internet are supposed to shout "first!"?

Also, now that we've seen at least a box in the wild, do I now get to start asking about my batch-2 (or maybe batch-3) tracking number? (seriously, do we know how big a 'batch' is?)

I feel bad for you Will - to have a SO3 and you can't unbox it and put it together...that's just cruel and unusual punishment.
