I've grown very fond of double-sided foam tape to hold down pieces of stock that are too small or awkward to be clamped. I've been able to cut some very small and delicate parts using this stuff, sometimes avoiding the need of tiny parting tabs that would have been difficult to remove later.
So, I jumped on this deal for 55 Yards of 3/4" wide foam tape for about $20USD. --> http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JWL4LM6/ref ... TE_3p_dp_1
If you like this stuff as much as I do, just a word of caution about this particular product -- It doesn't appear to be the 3M brand, but some knockoff instead. It is slightly less sticky than the 3M stuff, but it still holds well, and it is thinner at about 1.1mm, versus 1.5mm for the 3M brand. Regardless, it looks like it's going to work very well for me and what I use it for.
That's a lot of tape!
Cheers.

I use 3m double-sided tape with my pin router and planned to use it when I make the cnc jump too. That's a fantastic deal, I'll have to jump on it too!
