Dutch / European suppliers

Post by UltiArjan » Sat Jan 02, 2016 1:42 pm

Hi people, any Dutch/European's around here?
I'm hoping to get some supplier tips.

Where you buy your tools/cutters?
Any tips on good aluminium or plastics suppliers?

i'm belgian and get my alu here:
https://www.aluminiumopmaatgemaakt.be
they probably ship to the netherlands and may even be a dutch subsidiary.

For general cnc related stuff there's Amber Spyglass:

Some Shapeoko-specific items are better bought from the official inventables shop, but I try to keep that to an absolute minimum because of high import taxes.

Cutters I usually buy off eBay. Don't be afraid to buy from chinese sellers. Shipping is usually faster than you would expect, considering the goods travel around the world. And because China has a mostly free shipping policy it is usually the cheapest option. Just do some research to eleminate rubbish sellers.
Visit my blog for updates on my current SO2/lasercutting/... projects.
