Inkscape /Maker CAM should use the path center and not consider the width.

Please calibrate your machine: http://www.shapeoko.com/wiki/index.php/ ... he_Machine to calculate runout from your spindle/ end mill.

This first time user is at a standstill. I followed all the instruction on makerCAM tutorial
and reach up the point where I saved my drawing to SVG file. Then I was supposed to
go to www.buildlog/gviewer to see my drawing but my saved file do not drag into the
build log window. I tried running it anyway on my shapeoko 3 but it does not load.
Did I miss something when I saved the file? Do I need to download some other program
to make sure my makerCAM drawing is saved properly? Heeeelp with a capital H.
Thanks to all who can give me some advices.

Which instructions?

The most recently up-dated tutorial I know of is the SO2 one: http://docs.shapeoko.com/firstjob.html

There are other previewers here: http://www.shapeoko.com/wiki/index.php/ ... ing_G-Code

How are you trying to send it to the SO3? Carbide Motion? Have you done the SO3 hello world yet? http://docs.carbide3d.com/article/37-sh ... ello-world
