Makercam distortion for ovals/curves

Post by gracydesign » Fri Oct 30, 2015 5:37 pm

I'm importing an illustrator SVG file into Makercam but its distorting the shape. Its only happening to ovals and curves (image attached). Ive used Makercam on other projects without curves and I had not experienced any issues. My preference are set to 72. Can anyone help me figure out whats going on?

Could you post the AI .svg? (add a .txt file extension to upload it here).

My suggestion would be to put a 1" square on it, save it as a .pdf, load that into Inkscape, then save out as a .svg. and load the Inkscape .svg into MakerCAM.
