General parameters for wood cutting

Post by gpal » Wed Sep 11, 2019 7:34 pm

Hello, I am new to the wood cnc world and would like to do bas relief cutting in 3/4" pine, oak, walnut and mdf. Any place I can go to learn where to start and with what cutters for the different woods? I will be getting the Shapeoko XL machine and using the Carbide Motion software. Similar to the the clipart from Vectrics Design and Make CNC clipart.
Thank you, George
