Are the dimensional drawings on the wiki?
Thanks for sharing.
There are no drawings for it posted, I just need the time to get them on there. I will try and post the Auto Cad file for it.
Thanks,
Great, thanks a lot!

The plans would help a lot of people. I've started measuring everything myself heading toward making one myself.
But I know me. The 'DOH!' moment when attaching it to the machine is never something you hope to have.

I will try to make an aluminum bed like yours for my S3, hope you don't mind that I take your design as reference. If not, could you please share the depths of the T slot? you mentioned that the widths of the slots are .32 and .875 inches but what about the depth?
In the wiki i found a zip with various S3 drawings, one of them being half the waste board. so i made a 3D model of it in NX and join them together to make a single piece but i have a question about joining the halfs together.
each half is 580 x 360.87 mm
now, if I join the halfs together i would have a waste board (from now on bed) of 580 x 721.74mm
should I leave the bed as 721.74 mm or those 0.13 mm (0.26 mm when joined together) are being left for assembly tolerances? if so, should I make the bed 580 x 722 mm?
Thanks a lot!

Mine is one piece. There is no reason to make it two pieces. You just slide it in from the side.

Maybe I didnt explain my self that good, my bad.
I will be machining the bed from a single piece. I was just wondering about the gap it has (as little as it may be) when assembling the two mdf pieces.
About the depths of the Tslots... is that predefined with the tool you used for machining them?
Im in the market for one but not sure about the proper one to get

I keep seeing mention of a $400.00 Aluminum Waste Board / Table for sale but can't seem to find any pictures of info on it. Can you maybe point me in the right direction?
