Hi all:
First post as a newbie S3XXL owner, and a chronic over-thinker, so go easy on me. I just installed the router, and was a little disappointed in the management of the router power cable. I have the cable routed according to the instructions, using the three wire-tie chain to suspend it below the X-axis extrusion from the center cable management hole. But when I move the router along the X axis toward the right end, the power cable wants to flop down and lay on the bed. I added a second set of wire-tie loops on the next cable management hole to the right of center. This helped. But the whole thing is floppy and seems like a snag waiting to happen.
I'm thinking about wrapping the power cable in some helical wire loom material to give it more stiffness so it doesn't droop so much when slack. What else has been tried that works? Or am I worried over nothing?
Thanks in advance,
John.
Router Power Cable Concern
Re: Router Power Cable Concern
Wow, nothing? OK.
I think I'll route the cord along the dust collector hose once I get that set up.
