I like how the powder coating came out on the parts I did. Looks cleaner and more professionalHans wrote:I see there's a newer, sexier Shapeoko in Hartford county!

Re: Official SO3 Hello World
Jem-tech - I think you need to change your microstep settings on your machine. The helloworld appears to be 1/2 the size it should be?
Change the dip switches from 1/8 to 1/4 on your X and Y1 and Y2 switches.
Otherwise - LOOKS GREAT!

Re: Official SO3 Hello World
I must be doing something wrong... my Hello world doesnt want to work. When I put the sharpie and set it like following the instructions from the Carbide3D site, after I set to Zero all and load the project the Z axis goes all thew way up hitting the stoppers then goes all the way down hitting the sharpie to the paper and dis-aligning the sharpie. it then looks like it runs the program but way higher without even touching maybe 3" higher.
Help! I want to say Hello too!

Re: Official SO3 Hello World
Hi Adam -
Go back to the KB article and re-download the file: http://docs.carbide3d.com/article/37-sh ... ello-world
I just updated the g-code to define units (G21 = millimeters) instead of assuming your machine was in mm mode! That was my mistake, should be fixed now.
Also - after watching your video - make sure your DIP switches are all set to 1/4 (X,Y1,Y2,Z).
