#118 is alive!!!! I was pretty overwhelmed when I unpacked everything, since this was my first build. I broke it down into one sub-assembly each night when the kids went to bed and by the end of the it was together. Bought it as a Christmas present and had a good laugh that I got to turn it on for the first time on my birthday! Thanks everyone for all the build posts, I was able to figure out what I needed as I went along.

As part of the custom wasteboard implementation I'm working on, I went looking for the SO3 shapeoko logo graphic (as drawn in the Hello World g-code file). As I couldn't find such anywhere, I figured out how to pull out the X/Y plane of the g-code using a "G-Code Ripper" from the http://scorchworks.com site. It actually did a great job and required very little cleanup. I'll show the results in an upcoming post where I ran the SO3 wasteboards through my laser to add work area grids, decorative logos, and precise spots (using vector cuts to make a drill point) for threaded insert drilling.
I've attached the DXF file of the SO3 logo to this post.

Link to download is at the bottom. Just run the regular hello world, then load the new file and run it. Careful not to move the machine between running the first and second files.

I have now combined the original Hello World g-code and the additional g-code that just has the hatched version of the logo. This was done using the same process as before: G-Code Ripper across the XY Plane (making sure to NOT export the rapid movements), brought both of these rip's in as DXF imports into CorelDraw, killed thousands of extra nodes by Joining Curves (bezier), and then replacing the original "shapeoko" with the new hatched version. Export from CDR to DXF. Attached below as a zip file to get around the forum's 512K attachment limit.
So, original version still available a few posts above and now the hatched version available here as well. Enjoy.

Pens attached via rubeer bands....I'm thinking that is the most likely culprit. Belts tight and tensioned properly from what I have read.
Do you know if there's a way to slow the job down in carbide motion? It seems to move mighty fast through the job.

You can edit the G-code in the hello world file to change the F parameters to slow things down.
You might be able to change the max. machine speed by editing an option in Grbl — maybe slow acceleration to the point the machine can’t get up to speed?
Easiest just to add some more rubber bands until the pen is held securely
