Shapeoko 3 Replacement V Wheel

Tonight I took apart the X/Z carriage on my Shapeoko 3, in preparation to rebuild it with the upgraded Z plate this weekend.

Turns out the bumpy Z motion I was noticing was a cracked V Wheel

This was almost certainly my fault, mounting the Z rails too close together and then forcing the eccentric nut too far in an attempt to minimize front/back wobble of the old Z plate, so I'm totally fine with paying for a replacement. I'm just not sure what the exact part is or where to get one. The Shapeoko 3 BOM just has it listed as "Dual Bearing V Wheel Kit (assembly)". I found this page with some suppliers listed, but I think that's for the Shapeoko 2 and I'm not 100% sure the part is the same for both.

Anyone know for sure?

You can order from Makerfarm or inventables, I ordered from open builds as they have wider tires which hold the entire bearing. Z axis no issues, but did have a small clearance issue on the X and Y axis with belt clips which was easy to resolve.

I bought a few from Maker Farm last night. They won't come in time for me to rebuild the Z axis this weekend, but I'll get it done next week.

Carbide support has been really awesome in the past about sending replacements for a few out of spec parts, so I don't feel right bugging them about what was almost certainly my fault.

They should have all such spare parts available for sale --- the Delrin wheels esp. are a wear item / consumable.

It would be nice if they sold replacement wheels, belts, and springs. At least you can get a replacement circuit board now if you damage yours.

The springs are a commodity part, available at any hardware store.

Belts/pulleys I buy from SDP/SI.
