Installing Mikata
I removed the tool end from the Mikata and slipped it into the S3 XL tool holder and noticed the Mikiata is round at the bottom so it won't sit flat in the tool holder; how does one insure that the Mikata is straight in the tool holder? I haven't found any instructions for installing the Mikata (there are instructions in the assembly guide for the Dewalt giving me a bit of buyer's remorse).

It's pretty much the same as the Dewalt --- with the adapter shim in place, things should just fit, and should be pretty square.
To ensure things are completely plumb and square make a spindle square (you can use a 1/8" rod w/ two bends in it) and adjust things until everything is plumb and square.
