New S03 XXL Build Thread

Hey all. I'm a machine operator in aerospace just getting into it as a hobby and small business. I already have several 3D printers. I mostly make props and costume pieces but am expanding into other areas to learn more.

My XXL arrived Wednesday. I'm in the process of making a bench for it and have the kinda-torsion box top done. This is it before the top went on.

As I update, please feel free to add your opinions and ideas. I made an unofficial Shapeoko FB page and will link to it as it seems easiest to get pictures up here.

Just noticed an area for build threads. Mods, please move. :)

3D printed adapter to connect an 0.25" tooling pin to a dial indicator for tramming.
