v-wheels technical drawing

Post by grep » Tue Aug 01, 2017 6:40 pm

hi there :)

I was wondering, as the shapeoko 3 is open hardware, if there is a technical drawing for the v-wheels used by the shapeoko 3. I looked everywhere, couldn't find it.

Thanks

It ought to be in: https://github.com/sparkfun/SparkFun_Stepoko

Apparently the design has been changed since https://www.shapeoko.com/wiki/index.php/Parts#All_Axes was written.

Ask at support@carbide3d.com --- I'm not 100% sure about whether or no the design has changed (and unfortunately, gave away my Shapeoko 1 and Ordbot, so can't check) --- just some folks have said parts which ought to fit don't.

I'm tempted to think the delrin wheel design is the same, but the difference is in the outer diameter of the precision washer
