Greetings. New Shapeoko 3 XXL owner with a lot to learn but having a blast so far. First question for the forum is I have heard a few references about removing the feet from the XXL model to help improve performance. Just wondering if this is worthwhile or not? I am liking have a little extra space below the board to allow mounting screws to have room to pass through if needed.

Some folks have had issues w/ sagging, and removing the feet makes it easier to put the machine on a flat surface --- I do that w/ a Yoga mat on top, but mostly for sound-dampening.
