Hello,
I just ordered SO3 XXL and Dewalt DW611 but will have to wait for 2+ weeks. Now I am research what I need so hopefully I could use some help from you experienced users of XXL.
My main projects will be letter cutouts from 1/2" Baltic birch plywood. I will move to more complex ones as I get more comfortable with the machine. I will likely use Adobe illustrator to design lettering.
So here are my questions:
1. What bits (model #) are best for my purpose with DW611? I heard some mentioned precision bits. But I really don't know what make/models are the best for my purpose. Advice?
2. Anyway to lower the noise from shopvac vaccum? (I will build a simple dust shoe myself to start with.)
Help me the newbie, please.
Byron
What bits to buy for DW611? Any consensus?

What you need to some degree depends on what you wish to do.
