Good morning I purchased the shapeoko 3 xxl I have been trying to figure out how to work it. Every time I try to start a project, the router starts but does not touch the material I runs like that for a while. I have tried to adjust the start depth to 0.156 to start of but it is still doing it. Please help me

Have you added a spoilboard on top of your wasteboard? It's a long reach down on an SO3.
Do you have your router installed as far down in the mount as it will reach? Shift it down as needed.
Consider removing one of the springs.
