nice find. i didnt see if autorunning when specific program detected and closed when that program closes was built in setting but that should be fairly easy to set up tho if not

edit: article a little dated ancient. is the link to file updated? or has nothing changed to make update neccessary?

If you want something even easier, i have a little mouse mover exe a friend of mine wrote some years ago. No installation, just double click and it will keep the screen saver off and the pc awake as long as it is running.

Just disable the standby and sleep power options under control panel. Hibernation is easily disabled by running (in an elevated command prompt) powercfg -h off
