Anyone tried Linisteppers?

Post by Enraged » Mon Mar 04, 2013 3:09 am

I read about these the other day when looking at the thread about the Raspberry Pi running LinuxCNC: http://www.piclist.com/techref/io/stepp ... /index.htm

Seems like a low cost alternative to a Keling driver, but I'll be waiting for the Raspberry Pi LinuxCNC to be fleshed out.

Quote from web page: ... driver for small to medium sized 5, 6 or 8 wire unipolar (not 4 wire bi-polar) stepper ...

As most Shapeoko folks have the 4 wire steppers I guess not many would need this board.
