Oh yeah, I'm basically $300 in on the 611, Super-PID, and collet, so this is good news for me :)

Have you done the mods to the 611 for the Super-PID yet and tested it out yet? I'm looking for a little guidance on the electrical/electronic control disabling procedure.

I emailed SuperPID for photo instructions on how to mod the DWP611. He sent them to me last night and it looks pretty straight forward.

I tried uploading them and I am having trouble. I click the image button and then insert the photo in and it takes up whole screen (all forum post nav disappears) and I can't seem to find how to move on to the next photo to add let alone submit the post.

But the photos are great. urg.

If one of the moderators wants to email me I can send over the photo files to them.

Which browser are you using to try to upload the files?

I find it easier to upload the files to the wiki --- get an account there?

They sent me the photos of how to mod the 611 for the sensor, but not the electronic mods/cuts.

As far as I can tell (haven't tried it yet, and totally not an EE), the electrical part is just connecting these two wires together to bypass the thyristor:

Maybe this SuperPID discussion should go into it's own topic?

Agreed. Sorry. Can it be moved?
