Pause resume question

Post by N7oq » Sun Apr 15, 2018 1:35 am

OK I have a Shapeoko 3 and want to make some changes. I'm using BCNC with a raspberry Pi and it works great but using the pause and resume on the software and a bit slow, having to move the mouse over the button and clicking it. On the control board and see a hold set of pins and from what I have read it works as a hold button, but I see notinge on the board that says resume or start. I noticed with the Arduino board pause is A1 and resume is A2, so can I get access to A2 on the shapeoko 3 board, the one with the big capacitor? If not can I just click the pause button in software to resume?
thanks, Bill

My understanding if you have to send a command (~?) to resume.

Some notes on this here: https://www.shapeoko.com/wiki/index.php ... Enclosures

I think the best solution would be an electronics enclosure which has a custom keyboard which breaks out only the needed keys in a useful layout.
