Shapeoko Control

Post by lmwilco1 » Mon Jul 15, 2019 3:05 am

Hello,

I purchased a Shapeoko XXL in December and have been making all sorts of stuff. I have a SuperPID then I need to get connected and I figured I should do all of my connections for everything at once so I don't have to disassemble the controller board again. I want to connect up the following:

Touch Probe, that should be the three pin connector on the board.

SuperPID, I need a 5v, gnd, pwm, and logic control for the motor on/off. I plan to also use the motor on/off to trigger the dust collection system.

I have seen other document that show a 4 pin and a 6 pin connector that do not have pins soldered, I believe that I can get the gnd, 5v, PWM pins but I am not sure if the on/off control. Can anyone help?

I am running grbl 1.1.

Thanks,
Louis

I think it gives me what I want. The picture below show gnd, pwm, D13, and 5v, pwm and D13 are the pins that grbl supports. It sounds like the only complexity will be getting the D13 pin not to toggle on reboot. I will see what it takes to get this going.
