Re: NoProblem Log
USB Borescope Endoscope Camera will used as web camera through the dust cover . I notice when you have a dust cover on its difficult to see your bit. This USB Borescope Endoscope Camera will resolve this issue . so I will have two cameras a full view web camera and boroscope camera.

Re: NoProblem Log
Not a boroscope per se, but a small camera to mount to see what is happening at the cutting head, I expect.
I've got a flexible boroscope and I wouldn't let it near a mill! It cost as much as a Shapeoko, and that's a secondhand one!
No, most likely it'll be a camera streaming into the Google hangout for remote monitoring. I've got a webcam into a laptop running Skype for my 3D printer, & I'll add one for the mill too. Plasma cutter not so much - unless I can rig a remote fire extinguisher robot...

Re: NoProblem Log
I thought I was modifying the heck out of my stock machine prior to completing it stock but you're WAY ahead of me on the upgrade before done front.
I was going to use the First $150 promotion to get those for the bed but the get a quote page scared me since I was close to 3/31 for my order. I just went with a bunch of 2020 bars cut to 460mm to make the bed.

Re: NoProblem Log
Its a slippery slope for sure. I originally promised myself I would build it stock with only the 400W spindle as a mod to replace the Dremel. Yeah right
I'm at Makita RT0701C for spindle, adding 2040 to X and Y to stiffen them, moved Y belts to outside, limit/home switches on X/Y/Z, opto isolated shield for X/Y/Z switches, Acme screw upgrade on Z, upgraded top plate on Z to allow more clearance for the Makita and working on a bed made with aluminum extrusions.
All this and I have not even had the darn thing do anything yet but I'm having fun

Marvin,
From where did you buy extrusions for the bed?
Ruwan.
