As a reference for the shipping. My charge was about $15. That's for their standard delivery service (UPS) and it shows up next day for me.

The way it works is: they authorize your card for the amount of the product, when they get a delivery confirmation from UPS, they run your card for the product + shipping cost.

Right, wrong, or indifferent, when ordering from industrial suppliers, this is the status quo.

The picture quality is OK is not great at far distance but at close is not bad . ( its made to close distances)

I am going to mount mine very close to the spindle just through hole on top of the dust cover. So It should work perfectly

I've got a non USB version that is exactly the same camera on a wire with a stereo jack plug for a small battery powered monitor. Very handy sometimes.

I might get one with a longer reach though, & USB would be good for some stuff. Thanks for the link.

Actual Build Update

Here goes

Almost Finished did some quick mods

Only used one bolt and push it all the way up to the top of the plate on both Y axis. This approach increase my Z by about 25 mm
- Painted the plates ( didn't wait for it to dry properly and it got A LOT of paint got messed up.) Need to redo

Did some work this weekend

- Mounted laser (for cutting and engraving)
- Cut and mounted an acrylic terminal wire guard
- Increased the z axis by 25mm
- Mounted spindle

To do this week
- clean up wiring some more
- wire laser to power supply and shield
- mount USB boroscope camera
- mount USB Web camera
- mount cross hair laser
- mount limit switches
- design and cut dust shoe
- wire electronics in enclosure
