material list

When I first looked at the carbide create material list a couple of years ago, before buying my machine,it had a long list of
different materials.
Now it seems to have only MDF, ACRYLIC, ALUMINUM, AND HDPE. Why the he change and what is HDPE?
Just learning the software.
