I use it and vcarve pro. They have a ton of training videos on their website. http://support.vectric.com/training-material/cut2d

I use Cut2d, I had to install a Post Processor file for Cut2d so it would work with grblShield, got it over at this page

I often make something simple in Cut2d, use the Shapeoko/grblShield Post Processor, then send that file to G-Code Sender.
