This is a piece of wood 30x30mm and a square in the middle that is 1x1 inch, and the whole dept is 10mm :)

It's not emitting a command to set the units (or anything else).

Try adding G21 as the first line.

When I ran this the bit started to ram itself down in to the wood piece, I have not tried to run it without adding G21, but I am guessing I am doing something wrong with the Aspire software...

It should have started by trying to lift the spindle to 20mm above the current zero position:

I don't know if Grbl allows N# blocks or no --- might want to remove them.

It's still really weird it not having a preamble to declare the units (G21) absolute mode (G90) select the XY plane for arcs (G17), &c. See http://www.shapeoko.com/wiki/index.php/G-Code for the details. Aside from that and the excessive safety height, it seems fine.

Absolute mode is G90, not G53. G53 says use the machine coordinate system, and is not modal - it needs to be declared on every line you want to use it.

I start every program with: G90 G17 G20 G5x

G90 = use absolute mode (G91 is incremental)
G17 = Use XY plane (just force of habit)
G20 = Use Inches for units (G21 is mm)
G5x = Select work coordinate system - G54-G59 - you could also use G92

Have you checked that the axis movement directions you expect are what is happening? Specifically that a G91 G0 Z5 moves the spindle UP by 5mm

When I draw something in AutoCad and use CamBam there is no problem at all, it is accurate... But not with Aspire

But I will try what twforeman said, but you wrote G5X I don't know what number to use instead of X...

I had issues with the post processor you are using in aspire so I wrote my own for both inches and mm and posted them in the thread

I created these then found out later that post processors did exist but it was a good learning experience. I have been using Aspire for some time now and love the ease of use. If you need help loading the post processors into aspire let me know be happy to assist.
