Hello!

How do you make single line letters? I am using AutCad and CamBam, but in autocad when I make letters they are one line, but in CamBam it's just the outlines..

Please check the example I've attached to see what I mean :)

If you see in this picture there is single line letters that you can just color, but in CamBam my letter are like this:

When I choose the engrave tool it makes an outline of all the letters, I want it to only make a line in the middle of the letter...

Thoughts?

Options:

- CAM the letters w/ a bit setting which only allows one path
- inset the letters by just less than half the diameter and delete redudant paths
- redraw

I've been using this set http://www.mrrace.com/CamBam_Fonts/ I assume they would work in other programs too as they are TrueType.

CamBam has some addon 'StickFonts' if you search the CamBam forums.
They aren't all that pretty, but they work.
Alternatively, you can use the CamBam plugin for V-Engraving and use most of the TrueType fonts, as it will use a V-Shaped bit to cut the middles of the shapes out. It works well for me.
