Thanks,

Chase, sorry for the late response. I must have missed your post.

Of course I will send you the post if you still want it and you to you too rtype107

Please send me an email to cardenas125 at gmail and I'll reply you with the file.

Last week I've made some modifications to the post for it to print, as comment, the program name at the beginning of the file and for each operation the name and tool used. You can also select if you want to print a M06 if there's a toll change or not.

Good day!

If you’re satisfied that this works well, why not post it to the wiki?

If you’re not willing to do that, change the file extension to .txt and put it up here?

I can upload it here, changing the file extension, as you suggested. Thanks Will

Here's the NX post for S3 files.

I've been using it with NX 9.0.3.4 and works great. Any problems or mods regarding the post please let me know so I can work on them or add it to the post.
I have tested and run parts with it (3D and 2.5D) but again, I'm not responsible for any problems it might generate when using it. Please verify your code first.

Instructions:
Download all 3 files and rename them as follows (make sure you remove the number after the _GRBL in the file name):
NX_Shapeoko3_GRBL1.txt ---> NX_Shapeoko3_GRBL.def (18Kb)
NX_Shapeoko3_GRBL2.txt ---> NX_Shapeoko3_GRBL.pui (66Kb)
NX_Shapeoko3_GRBL3.txt ---> NX_Shapeoko3_GRBL.tcl (124Kb)
NX_Shapeoko3_GRBL1.txt
Rename to .def
(17.07 KiB) Downloaded 116 times
NX_Shapeoko3_GRBL2.txt
rename to .pui
(65.45 KiB) Downloaded 92 times
NX_Shapeoko3_GRBL3.txt
rename to .tcl
(123.01 KiB) Downloaded 90 times
Save them to a known path and from NX load it in the Post process dialog window, (this has to be done every time you start a NX session) If you would want to pertmanently add the post to the post list on the dialog window you need to install it first with the install NC post processor button under the tools ribbon.
If you do not save the .def and .tcl files in the same directory as the .pui NX will run into an error when post processing

And as final note, the post will always print an M06 code when a tool change is due unless specified unchecking the check-box in the tool change settings menu of the operation dialog box thats named Manual Tool Change

Happy milling!
Rod
