Grouping objects

Post by kinneyw » Tue Nov 27, 2018 5:19 pm

Newbie here. Just uploaded my first .svg file into Carbide Create to build tool path. My object has two paths. When I go to move the object, I can only move one path at a time. I am trying to do inlay so I need to be able to maintain the two paths for when I cut out the pocket. It there a way to group the two paths? I have tried shift, Ctrl, command, etc with no help. Is this something I should have done on the .svg side? Also, I had to shrink the object to fit my work piece. Is there a way to save this size so I can create a file for the pocket tool path? Should I create both the inlay and the pocket tool path in the same file so as not to change the size ratio from inlay to pocket?

There's a button for this when you have multiple objects selected.
