dfx2gcode question

It's a fairly simple one.

How does dfx2gcode know how many steps to send to make a cutter move 1 inch/cm? There must be somewhere where the actual distance the cutter moves for one pulse is fed into the system, but I can't see where that is...?

Or perhaps it's in another bit of software altogether?

Ah - panic over - step resolution is done by GRBL.

I thought that was firmware that was burnt into a chip and couldn't be changed - but now I've found that you CAN change tables that it uses....
