ShapeOkos in the US

Post by phlamingo » Mon Jan 07, 2013 9:54 pm

I'm curious about the distribution of S/Os here in the USA.

I'm building a stock one with dual Y's and a larger upgraded one in South Tennessee.

+1 Minnesota (Minneapolis), so far I only have a few of the simpler upgrades on the stock shapeoko. But am hoping to go big and add in a camera, z-axis upgrade, etc. :-)

Also a couple of suggestions for this distribution.
1) Edit you profile and add your location. It is always interesting to see where people are from.
2) cvoinescu made a map for us to pin our locations. I tried to use it but couldn't figure it out. Would be cool to have a map of ShapeOko users though.
3) Do we need subforums by location? It would be cool to get help from locals :-).

That map stopped working and I have no idea why (and no time to look into it at the moment)... It could be my fault. I'm sure there are numerous similar sites based on Google Maps, we just need to find one that works.
