Rapid Rate

Post by Jeff » Sat Feb 22, 2020 12:47 pm

Can some one tell me how to find out what the rapid rate of a Shapeoko XXXl is.
I want to put that info into Vcarve Pro to get more accurate tool path run times.

The settings shown at: https://docs.carbide3d.com/software-faq ... -settings/

are:

$110=5000.000 (x max rate, mm/min)
$111=5000.000 (y max rate, mm/min)
$112=5000.000 (z max rate, mm/min)

but please see: https://community.carbide3d.com/t/testi ... ings/19280

It is interesting that almost every time I post a question here ,I don't get a straight answer but directed to some other place the that means nothing to meat all .I am not a programer so I would not try to change any settings in Carbide Motion

I'm afraid that if you want to change the defaults, that currently requires that one uses the MDI to set them as one would when calibrating for belt stretch:

I guess I did not make my self clear. I do not want to make any changes to the settings in CM I am just looking for the speed rate for the rapid
movement from say the home position to the front left corner.
Or whatever the fasted movement of the machine is
