Reduce the "hello Word" example

i mean, it's too big and it doesn't fit in a A4....

Try downloading pycam. It's basic Cnc software that's easy to learn and play with. You can generate your own Goode to run.

Could be for this line in the example??
G20 G90 G64 G40


is not G20 for inch mode??

Ok RedOko, but i'd like test it to adjust the machine, but i don't understand why i'm the only i've this problem, or the rest of the people have readjust the example??

Maybe you have 200 steps/rev stepper motors instead of the 400 step/rev motors. That would make yours seem twice the size...

Aaron is correct on this one. Quick way to check it is this way. I'll assume you are using grblgcodesender.

Type the following, ignore the comments
G20 G90 "inch mode, absolute coordinate"
G1 X1.0. "X should move just 1 inch"


If you move 2 inch, change the pulse/mm by dividing it by 2.

i've the motors included in the kit (kickstarter)....
i'm going to test these parameters

Ok guys, the problem was themotors are 200 step/rev (X/Y axis) 400 step/rev (Z axis)... now i've got a normal size.....
