New to Cnc

Post by Elk717 » Sun Jul 19, 2020 9:13 pm

I’m looking at getting my first cnc machine to start making some things for a side business in the winter and to help out a furniture maker in my area. Just nervous about the investment being so big is it with it in the long run? And of course I know their will be a big learning curve. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I'm also new to cnc and had the same concerns. When I found the shapeoko I was excited that I could try this for a smaller investment than most machines I was looking at. There is a learning curve. I bought my machine in January. In April I made a sign with local school logo and our last name on the bottom. My wife loved the sign and posted on facebook. I have made over 50 signs now. I have made most of my initial investment back
