Upgrading from CM3 to CM5 requires:

- homing switches
- reflashing from Grbl 0.9 to 1.1
- a 64-bit computer if using Carbide 3D's reflashing tool

I often go 6 months between projects, so I miss a lot of the incremental changes. My SO3 hasn't been updated since purchased over 5 years ago. So, as I understand:
Using Carbide Create 520, I am better off saving basic GRBL
I need to use a legacy version of Carbide Motion

Anything else that I need to know or watch out for?
