Thanks all.

They told me there will be a follow up interview about shapeoko and myself specifically (opposed to this one was about Inventables selling shapeoko).

the interviewer was really interested in the fact that this started out of my garage and has manage to grow into something bigger.

We're scheduled next week to meet again and finish that up. Ill post the link once its been published.

Regarding the transcript, ill ask about that when I see her again.

Very cool, and nice job! I'm liking what I am seeing with the new plates/design! Looks like I might end up going the way of IC and only having a few stock fasteners on the machine...

Hi!
read that first article on "maker" and I must say even though the Shapeoko is a wonderful low cost design your two kids are your greatest creation of all. :) from one father to another I hope your Father's day was as awesome as mine.... :D

ShapeOko mentioned in a new book

At least that's what a search on Amazon tells me:

Makers at Work: Folks Reinventing the World One Object or Idea at a Time by Steven Osborn (Sep 18, 2013)

Logging in an using the ``Search inside'' feature shows about half-a-dozen mentions.

Just wanted to drop a line here with a link to a podcast interview I did a few weeks ago.

http://bit.ly/1fngtbl

The guy who does the podcast (michael) emailed me in late January inviting me for an interview. After reading through his site and asking a few questions I gladly accepted.

The interview went well, and I'm happy we got it done. I tried my best to represent the community and tell our story. Hope everyone likes it.

Take care,
Edward

Inventables just tweeted that the ShapeOko got a full-page in the April issue of Popular Mechanics:

There was also a mention on Engadget which Edward tweeted: https://twitter.com/shapeoko/status/442885537913790466

We probably need to keep an eye on the comments --- posted a bit, not sure if it'll help or no.

In the South African issue of Popular Mechanics for the month of May 2014 a one page article/description of the Spapeoko was seen.
Nice page to get people started as the prices quoted was in South African Rand.

Well done Shapeoko

Fast Company article:

(though the Shapeoko is mis-characterized as a 3D printer)
