Updated the list.

Guys, I'm having a particularly hard time finding vendors in Europe/Portugal for:
- Plastic sheets (3 to 10mm thick)
- Aluminum type 6061/6082 sheets (3 to 10mm thick)
- T-Slot aluminum frame, for making an enclosure and/or a working bed, etc...
- Clamping tools

- Acrylic is something I am yet to search for, but I believe it'll be easy to find.

http://www.aluminiumwarehouse.co.uk/ have 6082 plate, in 4 mm to 12.7 mm. Their sheet offering (up to 3 mm) is not good for machining, though (they have 1050 and 5251). They also have extruded 6082 flat bar, in various widths and thicknesses, which may be cheaper than plate for small parts.

Good post. I have been living in so many countries including US and southern european countries. It is hard to know where to get the stuff at the right price/voltage/no custom/low shipping or local pickup...

I cannot find a way to get misumi extrusion here and I hate that!
In france I get thin metal plates at KDI and other stuff at http://tole.lametallerie.net/ or www.john-steel.com

The D22600 is a good piece of tool but it is a small router very good at it much better than a dw660 but the price is linked.

Thanks loopingz for contributing.
There's an European site http://www.misumi-europe.com/en/ ?
Haven't really checked them out, they seem to be in the UK. But I would believe they ship to all of Europe.
Taking your word for it, I hope they do.

Misumi Europe is actually in Germany, and they do ship all over Europe.

Misumi ships all over Europe to people with an account. To have an account I have always been asked for a company number. I am a pure hobbyist...

Edit: As for Misumi I had a communication with them from August 2013 (Am I slow?), and back then the VAT number was mandatory. Did it changed?
As for the Dewalt references maybe I mixed up.

You may have mixed them up in PM, not here ;)
Unfortunately they still require a company VAT number.
But you can ask them for a distributor/reseller near you.

I did ask, and I had no answer.

I'm sorry to hear that. This is in no way an official response, but they could be legally bound to sell to companies only.
Their "general terms and conditions" is kind of scary in that way.

But don't worry, I'll ask them.

Updated the list.

New additions to acrylic, PVC, aluminum.

http://www.aluminiumwarehouse.co.uk/ is for consumers living in the UK.
The company will sell to other countries, but communication happens outside the online store, with added costs (I prefer not to go into much detail on this, because it's their right to do so), and the customer has to arrange for pick-up and delivery with a courier, which is impractical for end consumers.
Otherwise it seems to be a really good supplier (good people + good communication + the right products).
