connected to board - motors not turning

Post by cncnavigator » Tue Dec 15, 2015 5:43 am

Hi, I purchased the shapeoko 3 delux kit from SparkFun with the stepoko circuit board and nema 23 motors. I have the motors wired and the board connects to universal gcode sender (I flashed the board with Grbl). Im receiving no tone from the motors or any movement when trying to move in Universal Gcode Sender. Please help me fix the issue.

Since they’re wired using the same sort of connectors as the SO1/2, the same sort of troubleshooting techniques which applied to them should work:

- compare things to the wiring diagram — make certain everything matches
- check continuity of all wires and ensure that everything is secure
- go through the operating checklist and ensure that you’ve not overlooked any steps such as establishing a power connection or switching on a power supply or power strip

Also, since you re flashed Grbl, please verify your settings against: http://docs.carbide3d.com/article/38-sh ... l-settings
