Can someone please confirm the dimensions of the bottom feature of the 52mm spindle mount that normally comes with 52 mm spindles (the 300 watt ones).

Here is one on inventables, which is pretty much the type sold everywhere:

Nowhere does it describe the dimensions of the base feature, where it is recessed upward so as to allow clearance for any bolt heads that may be on the plate to which it is mounted. Every mount I've seen for a 52mm spindle seems to have that feature, however. I have made an educated guess that the recessed portion begins 13.5mm from the center and extends 14mm before coming back to the plane upon which the plate and the mount would meet.

On my mount:
The bottom corner (in your bottom link, the corner where the 54 and 90 arrows meet) is tapered. So, Measuring from that corner, points on the 90 arrow line are:
3mm cutoff, 17mm flat area, 3mm recess, 12.5mm bottom of the recess, 3mm recess, 6.5mm to the center of the 13mm wide middle portion.

However, the part is sandblasted (no edge is sharp), so making accurate measurements is difficult. You need to add 0.3mm measurement error to somewhere in the numbers list, as the part is actually 90.6mm wide.

Further, the the clearance is not much, the recessed portions are only 2.7mm deep.
