Actual dimensions of 52mm spindle mount?

Can someone please confirm the dimensions of the bottom feature of the 52mm spindle mount that normally comes with 52 mm spindles (the 300 watt ones).

Nowhere does it describe the dimensions of the base feature, where it is recessed upward so as to allow clearance for any bolt heads that may be on the plate to which it is mounted. Every mount I've seen for a 52mm spindle seems to have that feature, however. I have made an educated guess that the recessed portion begins 13.5mm from the center and extends 14mm before coming back to the plane upon which the plate and the mount would meet.
