Stepper shield boards

Post by cn arch » Fri Sep 21, 2012 10:26 pm

Will the Rev3.0 board with the Arduino Uno work for 3D printing? In something like the ORDbot? There are four drivers positions available on the board.
Has anyone printed with this?

I doubt anything on the stepper shield would stop you, as you said it has 4 axes. However grbl only supports 3 axes as of now, and I think most 3D printing firmware requires the mega, so you might not be able to use the uno.
