I just finished assembling my Shapeoko 2 Full kit and wanted to replace with better spindle. I did some research and ended up getting Makita compact router. Next is I designed some 3D Printer mounting. There is already existing one thingverse but I want something that I can use the existing mounting block and also some more clearance on the z axis. Even the clone dremel included on the full kit is hitting the top z-axis.
I'm currently printing it now and still waiting for the M5x20mm bolts and nuts to arraive to finish the installation.

Re: Makita Compact Router mount.
Neat!
I wanted to do something similar w/ my own mount, but didn't have a 3D printer running at the time, so instead directly attached to the Makerslide (not a big deal since I put it on my SO1).

Any chance you'll share the 3d print files?
