Do you remember the model or HP?
I'll have to look when I get home, but a quick glance at the Sears web site shows that they have re-designed all their shop vacs again. Mine doesn't look like any of the ones listed.

This is the vacuum that I'm currently using. It works well and isn't quite as loud as other shop vacs I've used. It has a pretty powerful motor rated at up to 5 peak HP with a 5 gallon capacity. I also like how it can hang on a wall.

That's a lot of power in a little machine. Does anyone use anything smaller than that? Space is somewhat limited under the shapeoko?

Checked the little household vacuum I'm using: 1200 Watts, 9.5A.

I had contemplated this vac from Electrolux as well: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004Q0OLO ... 96-5435713. It's rated at 65dB and goes for about $160.

I'd have a look at those cheap shopvacs also, a lot of them have the same motors in them, so it ends up just being the bucket size being the difference.
ShopVac + cyclone is a good place to be, of course you REALLY need to enclose that sucker and keep it cool, enough.

For the Fein vacs, look for the still available older models, for the Turbo II it's 9-55-13, for Turbo I 9-11-20. They just released new models which are way more expensive than the older ones. Still not cheap but they are great vacs
