Good ShapeOko 3 videos?

Post by WillAdams » Tue Oct 27, 2015 10:54 am

Anyone have any notables or favorites?

I almost never watch them, so they don’t get linked on the wiki — please post links to ones which you feel are worth sharing along w/ a brief description and we’ll put them on the wiki, or just add them there.

I think it would be better to have them placed in situ in the correct topics — does anyone see any value in a page which does nothing but list such?

Winston Moy's one on making a dust separator is pretty good:

I really like the 3 part series on making a gear coaster by Caleb Peters. https://youtu.be/-CHJJRMeAGU

It's done with a Shapeoko 2 but part 1 is about using Inkscape and part 2 is about makercam. Following his very instructional videos, I was able to create my own first cuts with my Shapeoko 3. It was a huge help for a newbie like myself.

Listed at: http://www.shapeoko.com/wiki/index.php/ ... d_Examples

But I’ve added it to: http://www.shapeoko.com/wiki/index.php/Workflow#CAD

And we’ll try to collect all the videos there until there are enough to make a page.
