Wonder if they'll have expansion rails...

If this is this year's new Shapeoko announcement I'm still feeling pretty good about the one I've got :)

Though I admit I am *slightly* envious about the new board having an expansion header with easily broken-out D11 and D13 pins. Not "drop $150 on a new board" envious though.

Their shipping to the UK is only £104.25 (US$158.377), via UPS expedited. That's reasonable. :)

Unlike Carbide 3D's rip off approach (US$400, via USPS).

Guessing Carbide 3D might now stop ripping off overseas customers (hopefully!), or Sparkfun will pick up the overseas buyers instead. Either way is good. ;)

Global Express to the UK from Pennsylvania for a 55 lb. 30.5x7.5x12.5 package is $332.85 --- probably being in the midwest accounts for the balance --- use a shipping service?

Wonder if their board has the same disconnection issues? I might get one if it doesn't.

I noticed the spark fun board doesn't have a 4th driver for the second y motor. Wonder how that impacts performance.

I personally think it's a on/off switch issue with the Dewalt.
I plugged the Dewalt into a power switch and use it's on/off switch to turn the router on and the vacuum on and off at the same time.
I don't loose connection at all anymore. And my shop is cleaner with one less step.
I kept hearing a faint static pop when turning on the Dewalt router which always preceded a disconnect.

Sounds like it was for you. I'm not using a DeWalt though... ;)
