Ultimate shapeoko dust shoe

Post by leo.cecchin » Fri Jan 27, 2017 10:42 am

Hi everyone, this is the design that I made for my shapeoko dust shoe, since my spindle is a Makita router air cooled I needed to design a mount that was able to deviate the airflow away from the bit so that the shop vac would be able to suck dust, I also wanted to be able to mount and unmount it quickly, so I went for this magnetic atachment. in these days I'm going to test it.

Nice!

Looks like mine: Image

I am very satisfied with it and it sucks up almost everything.
If only it was see-trough it would be perfect.. :)
