Homing

Post by DW Woodworking » Fri Feb 01, 2019 7:04 am

Hello all,

So the sequence on my XXL is somehow jacked. Of the three distinct phases Z, X, Y respectfully, I only sometimes get Z to move, and X is moving to the left instead of to the right...the machine errors out before any Y movement. Please help.

$23 determines which direction the axes move during homing.

Z should move first, then X and Y together. If your machine is sitting on a limit switch when you start the homing sequence you will have problems. Make sure you are away from the switches when you start.

If you are still having issues with Y then check the wiring and make sure the switch is working properly.
