Hi,
I downloaded , and successfully ran the 4 clamp program. However I used a 201 square bit which has a 1/4 shank. It of course overcut the dimensions, thus leaving a complete cutout of the shape of the clamp having carved out the entire middle area of the shape (I am guessing the 201 bit is too wide).
I think the tool change message said use a 102? cutter which I don't have. So looking at the 101 and 102 cutters, they are 1/8 inch shanks. I purchased the Dewalt router with my Shapeoko XL but it does not have adapters for 1/8 shafts.
So do I buy the Amana RB 102 1/4 to 1/8 adapter, or does Carbide Create sell 1/4 shaft bits that match the 101 or 102 bits?
I would hate to purchase knockoffs.
Also, it would be kind to add suggested bit numbers on the downloads.
Don
